terms and conditions
All services for private security shall include an official Service Contract negotiated by representatives of Tombs Tactical Security and the client. The contract shall clearly detail the need for armed/ unarmed security personnel for the event. The contract (agreement) shall be binding and outline the following:
Contracted Services shall denote:
- Type of Event (see services listed below)
- Armed or Unarmed Security personnel required for security detail
- Number of security guards assigned to event (based on estimated number of attendees, location, complexity of event, etc.)
- $75.00 Non-refundable Consultation Fee (waived upon contracting of services)
- Schedule of Payments for all security guard services rendered (Including down-payment and final payment)
- A Deposit Clause
- Hourly Wage Rate for All Security Personnel
- Total Cost(s) for security services rendered
- Assigned Times of shift start and termination
- A minimum of two (2) Points of Contacts (and contact information)
- Pre-event meeting or location walk-through
Cancellation and Refund policy usually consists of:
- Terms of return (i.e. number of days)
- State of return
- Reason for return (e.g. damaged or wrong product)
- Process for return (i.e. how to initiate a return, how to contact customer service)
- Process of refund (i.e. terms of refund, duration, payment details)

For persons interested in a possible career in private security, Tombs Tactical Security LLC follows and adheres to guidelines and regulations set forth and established by The Maryland State Police. To become a security guard in Maryland, you must meet requirements set by the Maryland State Police and apply for a certificate through a licensed security guard agency.
General requirements
- Be 18 or older to work as an unarmed security guard, or 21 or older for armed security
- Be a U.S. citizen or legal alien
- Submit a background check and drug screening
- Submit a fingerprint card and passport-style photo
- Pay a licensing fee
- Be in good physical condition
- Be able to read and write English fluently
Additional requirements for armed security Have a valid Social Security number, have not committed any acts of fraud, and Complete additional firearms training.
Additional requirements for security guard agencies Be at least 25 years old and be of good character and reputation.
Application process
- Apply through a licensed security guard agency
- Allow 90 business days for the application process
- Start the renewal process at least 90 business days before your license expires
Security officers protect specific locations, items, or events. They are not members of law enforcement.

The role of the security officer is to ensure a safe and secure environment while adhering to and exhibiting our mission and core values. Duties of the security officer include but not limited to on foot patrolling/monitoring assigned areas, investigating irregularities, submitting detailed reports at the end of each shift including daily activities and arrests as well as submitting detailed incident reports and trespass notices.
